Bespoke cakes for all occasions

Terms & Conditions

Deposits

I require a 50% deposit on all orders which is deducted from the final balance.  Deposits need to be paid 1 month in advance.  If you cancel your order any deposits paid are strictly NON REFUNDABLE.

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel your order, any deposits paid will be FULLY REFUNDED to you.  Possible reasons for us needing to cancel include death, injury, illness (due to health and safety regulations), serious medical condition or an accident.

Final Balance Payments

Final balance payments are due on or before the delivery/collection date.  I reserve the right to hold the order until the payment is made in full.  I recommend that you make payments electronically or by cash as cheques will need to clear before I can release your order.

Allergies

It is your responsibility to inform me of any allergies that may be affected by usual cake ingredients.  All cakes will be nut free unless otherwise stated.  Gluten and dairy free cakes can be made on request.

Photography

Let There Be Cake reserves the right to take photographs of your cake(s) for use on my website and any other promotional material whether these be online or in print.

Quality and Storage of your cake(s)

Your cake(s) will be baked as close to your delivery/collection day as possible to ensure quality and freshness.  We recommend that sponge cakes should be eaten as close to the delivery/collection date as possible.

Cakes covered with sugarpaste should be stored in a cool dry place, preferably in the box in which they are supplied.  They should not be refridgerated.

Orders

I prefer at least 1 months notice (secured with the deposit) on all orders with the exception of wedding cakes which we prefer at least 3 months notice (secured with the deposit).  However, I will accept short notice orders subject to the availability of the date.

Any cake ordered from a picture or photo of a cake produced elsewhere can only be reproduced by me as my interpretation of the cake and will not be an exact replica.
